Booma-RC and Advanced Radio How it started
Booma RC is a division of Village Entertainment P/L. An Australian registered company. Our Radio Control products division was Founded in October 2007 by Mr Rick Gell from passion and love of Giant Scale Aerobatics. Mr Gell played a founding role in the creation of the Australian Scale Aerobatics Association. He held the role of president of the Australian Scale Aerobatics Association ASAA for three (3 years). Mr Gell also loves scratch building GS models and is an an avid turbine and scale model pilot.

"With 40 years experience in Radio Control modeling, Giant Scale, Turbine models, IMAC Aerobatics, F3A and sport flying of helicopters, a 30 year background in digital electronics and software Architecting for the Medical Industry I though I would develop products to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all that participate in the hobby."

We have a simple philosophy "Develop products that RC enthusiast all over the world can enjoy. We aim to be the best not the biggest".

Since our beginning we have made many friends in all parts of the world and always get good feedback when dealing with our customers. 

In 2014 Rick's son Brendan grew the family tradition by joining the team. Brendan is trained in mechanical engineering and brings a wealth of knowledge and RC flying skill to the business.
